Data Collection
Home Survival Kit does not collect personal data. We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer personal data to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or other third parties.
Ads and Tracking
Home Survival Kit does not show ads. It does not include advertising trackers and does not track users across apps or websites.
Local Storage
The information entered into Home Survival Kit is stored locally on the user's device. This may include home details, multiple local property addresses, warranty deadlines, punch-list items, inspection notes, photos, videos, contractor information, quotes, maintenance records, home binder details, to-do items, language preference, and backup records.
This information stays on the device unless the user chooses to export, save, back up, or share it.
Exports and Sharing
Home Survival Kit can create PDF reports, Word-compatible documents, CSV spreadsheets, JSON backups, property transfer files, images, and videos. Exports are created only when requested by the user. The user chooses where exported files are saved or sent.
Permissions
- Camera: used to take photos for punch-list documentation.
- Photo Library: used to attach selected photos and videos to records.
- Notifications: used for reminders the user creates or enables.
No Account Required
Home Survival Kit does not require an account for core use.
Optional App Lock
Home Survival Kit can use the device's Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or passcode features to unlock the app if the user turns on App Lock. App Lock is local to the device. It does not create an account and does not send home records to a server.
Account Recovery
Home Survival Kit does not have accounts, account passwords, or server-side account recovery. If App Lock is enabled, access recovery uses the device's Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or passcode settings. App records can be restored only from backup files the user chose to export and keep.
Transfer and Deletion
Home Survival Kit does not have accounts to transfer or delete. A full backup can restore the user's records on another device. A property transfer file can add selected areas of one home to another app install, such as a buyer's device, without replacing the recipient's other properties. Users can archive a property for reference, delete selected areas of the active property, delete one active property, or use Delete local data in Settings.
Children
Home Survival Kit is intended for homeowners and adults managing home records. It is not directed to children.
